As a mobile data consultant, Herine supports all aspects of data collection. Herine works to provide training and training materials to the FMC team and associates, supports the design and implementation of surveys, and ensures quality data collection at the field level. She also works with local enumerators to ensure they have the capacity to use the mobile data collection platform and that the data is being collected properly. Herine also supports projects via project planning, reporting, procurement, and payments in the field.

Herine is skilled at building capacity and delivering quality training for a variety of audiences. She also brings project management capabilities through implementing a variety of processes to manage and track project timelines and deliverables.

Herine Ruto has over five years of professional experience as an educator. Having taught in three East African countries, she has led educational programs focused on mentoring teachers, adapted to and implemented a variety of curriculums to meet her students needs. She has demonstrated adaptability, flexibility and empathy for others and their cultures throughout her career.

Herine holds a BA Education from Kenyatta University and an MA in International Relations from the United States International University - Africa.

Herine loves reading, watching documentaries and listening to true crime podcasts. She lives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with her husband.
